It's 2024, and I'm switching to Firefox because Chrome is breaking adblock.

===== Recommended addons =====

  * **uBlock Origin:**  The good ad blocker.
  * **Gesturefy:**  Good gestures, including rocker+wheel gestures. Built-in interface good enough to set up your preferred gestures in a minute.
  * **New Tab Override:**  To make new tabs load my custom launchsite; also tweak tab order.
  * **Image Search Options:**  Get all the reverse image search options.
  * **FoxyProxy**: Proxy switcher (for use with ''ssh -D 1080'').
  * **TamperMonkey: **Use custom scripts to augment existing websites.
===== Middle click opening new tabs in foreground instead of background? =====

Not sure what causes this, but here's the fix: in **Options**, find and disable **"When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately"**

===== Get auto-scroll working =====

On Firefox for Linux, by default, middle click auto-scroll is disabled. I spent a long time looking for an extension to fix this, but it's just a simple option.
