Firefox fixes and addons
It's 2024, and I'm switching to Firefox because Chrome is breaking adblock.
Recommended addons
uBlock Origin: The good ad blocker.
Gesturefy: Good gestures, including rocker+wheel gestures. Built-in interface good enough to set up your preferred gestures in a minute.
New Tab Override: To make new tabs load my custom launchsite; also tweak tab order.
Image Search Options: Get all the reverse image search options.
FoxyProxy: Proxy switcher (for use with ssh -D 1080).
TamperMonkey: Use custom scripts to augment existing websites.
Middle click opening new tabs in foreground instead of background?
Not sure what causes this, but here's the fix: in Options, find and disable "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately"
On Firefox for Linux, by default, middle click auto-scroll is disabled. I spent a long time looking for an extension to fix this, but it's just a simple option.
