BBQ Pork/beef for slow cooker or instant pot

Ingredients

Procedure

  1. Cut meat into 1" strips, cutting off any big fat
  2. Cover liberally in paprika and chili powder. Add some salt and pepper.
  3. Put meat into crock pot with 1.5 cup water and roughly half the sauce
  4. Instant pot? Run instant pot for 60 minutes and release. Slow cooker? Set to LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 3 hours.
  5. Remove meat and shred.
  6. Discard liquid in pot.
  7. Add meat back to instant pot or stovetop pot with rest of sauce. Saute for 5-10 min, stirring frequently.
  8. Serve
